I was first interested in magico-religious beliefs and practices as a small child often contemplating the deeper meanings of life, the nature of the divine, and the purpose of existence. I had many peculiar dreams during this time and a keen interest in philosophy. The works of Plato and Alan Watts appealed to me as did the theological perspectives of Christianity and Hinduism. My degree in Anthropology built on these interests as I came to incorporate the perspectives and beliefs of many cultures and civilizations, past and present, into my thinking and experience.

During my PhD research I met and interviewed shamans in Mongolia. I interviewed several shamans and many commented that I possessed the gift and lineage necessary to become a shaman. After some encouraging by these shamans I accepted and learned to engage in shamanic ritual practice.  Over the course of a year I was chosen, trained, and then initiated by one of the most highly respected shamans in outer Mongolia. The type of shamanism I offer is British shamanism which is heavily informed by Mongolian shamanic practice. This is possible due to the nature of my ancestor spirits who are predominantly British and European.  

I communicate with my ancestor spirits and occasionally with nature spirits, as necessary, to gain answers to specific questions made or call upon them to help and heal clients. My ancestor spirits have also removed unwanted entities attached to clients and we can conduct aura cleansings as well. I can do most of my work at a distance and require a photo of the client and a name. Please see my services page for further details.

Shamanic work is individual to each client but involves standard shamanic practices and/or Reiki.

After seeing the rise of neo shamanism in Britain I also became aware of the difficulty for new shamanic practitioners to gain access to much needed tried and tested shamanic equipment. I offer authentic high quality shamanic equipment made in the countries I have visited who have historic shamanic traditions, such as Mongolia, to fill this need. Purchasing these items also helps to support local craftsmen/women, and businesses in these countries.

I also became aware of the difficulty for new shamanic practitioners to find much needed reliable information and advice on shamanism. This especially seems to be the case beyond what is available on Wikipedia and from the works of Michael Harner. I offer advice and information to supplement this knowledge gap based on my academic research in the area of shamanism as well as my own practical experience.

I live in Shropshire on the border between England and Wales. Though I am frequently away for research purposes I publish events and sessions for when I am available in Shropshire on this website and can be contacted for distance work. Please allow up to one working day for a response as I may be involved in fieldwork.
